LLL of Ashburn PM series meeting tonight (11/11)

Come join us for our series meeting tonight! It's meeting #1, why it's awesome to breastfeed your baby. Of course bring your burning questions and we'll get to those first.

Remember next month (12/9) is the Dad/Partner meeting.

Can Breastfeeding prevent illness? Yes it can! It's great to be nursing in flu and cold season!

We're having a photo fundraiser with Jessica from Portrait Playtime. Jessica takes some really amazing photos, we love working with her!

Our meeting location has changed!

We are changing our meeting location (but not our time or day) from the library to the Broadlands Community Center located at 43004 Waxpool Road, Ashburn, VA 20148.

First Series Meeting - Tomorrow!

Our first series meeting will be tomorrow evening at the Ashburn Library from 7pm- till about 8:30 or so. Please join us if you can make it!

What are LLL Series Meetings like?

Our monthly Series Meetings rotate through four general topics:

• Advantages of breastfeeding
• Preparing for baby,childbirth and the new baby at home
• The art of breastfeeding: avoiding and overcoming difficulties
• Nutrition and weaning

All women interested in learning about breastfeeding are welcome to attend meetings or to call a Leader for breastfeeding help. Whether you breastfeed your baby six days, six weeks, six months, a year, or longer, you will find La Leche League meetings supportive and informative. Babies and children are always welcome at our meetings.

Our first meeting was held January 31st, 2009. Thanks to everyone who made it out! Especially Kathy who came from inside the beltway!
